I transformed Room 222 into a bejeweled underwater paradise. Vintage clothing and accessories for women and men were for sale as well as Cozette millinery creations and reworked vintage by Edmund and Lou.

I seem to have discovered the fashionable equivalent to a beer helmet

The ReFinery hosted a night of 1940s mystery and intrique. Room 222 was transformed into a private eye office complete with notorious femme fatales. Hair and makeup was done to period by acclaimed makeup artist Marlena von Kazmier and renowned Joe Fuda took black and white photos of the glamorous results.

The infamous Silver Snail sold awesome comics, graphic novels, prints, collectibles and more. Classic superhero television shows were showcased throughout the evening and a special guest illustrator did live, custom artwork for patrons. Best of all, the building was full of costume-clad fans: Stormtroopers, Wonder Woman, Bat Man and many more partied with us all night long!

The weather was perfect today for Edmund and Lou’s garden party. Designers Esmé Hogeveen and Stefanie Ayoub put on an adorable event for their buyers, complete with lemonade and home baked cookies. Stef’s lush family garden was transformed into a Narnia-esque fashion oasis, with their newest reconstructed vintage designs being displayed amongst tree branches and flower beds.

Similar to ‘The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’ characters that inspired the company’s name, Edmund and Lou’s designs are wonderfully youthful and adventurous.

Fashion meets art at the shared space of Silver Falls Vintage and Hunter and Cook gallery/magazine headquarters. The night featured specially selected vintage finds and live portrait drawings by local artists.

The boys of Funktion Gallery at Lansdowne and Bloor did live body painting. They also sold artwork/gear: original canvases, prints, t-shirts, buttons and more!
